This girl was such a natural in front of the camera! And its a good thing, since the purpose of this session was to get her some professional portfolio images for modeling. Well. Just look at her! She rocked her session and was so comfortable with the camera! A natural. But she was also so easy going, relaxed and had such a sweet personality. The whole package.

This sweet little boy was probably one of the SLEEPIEST babies I’ve ever photographed! He was milk-drunk at the start and snoozed the whole session, no matter what we were doing with him. I think his mom and I had way too much fun with him! ..and of course they needed a token of the Giants’ in there with him!

I LOVE photographing newborns! There is just something about that brand new innocence and purity that gets me every time. It takes a few hours for a newborn session but I just love it! And this was no exception. These sweet girls were just adorable! I brought my photographer friend Nitny as my assistant and to take a few macro shots for me..a few are included in the pictures below. The twins each took turns sleeping, which was convenient! Here are a few images from H & R’s session.

A few months ago, I met this beautiful family in San Rafael and did some family/maternity pictures which you can see HERE. I was excited to meet their newest baby girl and sure enough she was such a precious little sweetie. I have really loved working with this family!

Its been a busy month around here and I apologize for slacking on my posting! I have been excited to post this family’s session because, well, just look at them!! I was so impressed by this group! 5 easy going and sweet kids–gorgeous mom and super chill dad. They had soo much fun and made my work super easy. I loved seeing their relationships with each other…it made me feel more excited about my kids’ teenage years! This was an extra special session, because a few short days later, their oldest daughter would be heading off to serve a mission for the LDS church for the next year and a half. This is the last time they will get a family picture for several years! (Since their son would leave on a mission before their daughter comes back.) Thanks so much you guys for the wonderful opportunity of photographing your beautiful family!

If it wasn’t for the cold, wind and darkness (haha!) I think I could have taken pictures of this lovely girl for the whole night! She was such a natural in front of the camera. I don’t know, but I think I’ve been pretty spoiled with the high school seniors I’ve been able to photograph lately! This girl was no exception–so sweet, down to earth and easy going and I totally enjoyed our time together! We only had time for a few ballerina shots at the very end but I am dying to take her back out just for those types of pictures! So beautiful! It was especially fun to do the shoot at St. Vincent’s in Marin since she spent a few years dancing there too.

Last month the Chic Critique Forum was having a Chic magazine cover contest so of course I was intrigued! I decided to shoot a session with the intent of submitting one of the images as my entry. Well..I didn’t win (you would have heard me celebrating by now!)..but I still had an amazing time with my beautiful model! She is gorgeous inside and out and we had so much fun trying to create that magazine look.
